Abstract: We all send information, both consciously (data) and unconsciously (metadata). We all try to protect its diffusion (in technical terms, to preserve our privacy) using whispers, concealed gestures or quantum resistant encryption. Today, many blockchain based projects claim their system guarantees privacy, but few of them say to which component of the infrastructure or which kind of privacy they refer to. In this talk we introduce the multiple layers of blockchain interaction, the possible attacks on those layers and the relative consequences for the different kinds of privacy of the user.
