ASYMPTOTIC HOMOGENIZATION IN BIOLOGY

The half-a-day workshop "Asymptotic homogenization in biology" will be
devoted to recent results in the application of the methods of formal
homogenization to biological problems of specific interest in medicine.
Speakers will illustrate and discuss promising applications of multiscale
analysis in diffusion and elasticity problems that stem out in
mechanobiology and drug delivery systems.
