Abstract: the Amiitsur—Levitzki theorem is a first step in the study of the algebra of multilinear antisymmetric equivariant maps from matrices to matrices. The structure of this algebra has been extended to semisimple Lie algebras and even other representations (work with De Concini, Papi and Moseneder)
