INTEGRAL EQUATIONS: RECENT ADVANCES AND APPLICATIONS
In the last years new methods for the numerical solution of integral equations have been proposed with applications to a wide range of fields such as Physics, Engineering, Medicine.
The main goal of the Workshop is to bring together mathematicians and engineers, belonging to different groups of the national and international scientific community, to discuss on latest advances on integral equations and their applications.
This event focuses, in particular, on boundary element methods and related issues of approximation theory and efficient computation of integrals. It will be an occasion for stimulating interactions between researchers with different interests.
In addition, the meeting will honour the 70th birthday of Professor Giovanni Monegato, whose scientific interests and contributions during his long and fruitful academic life are strongly connected to the topics of the Workshop
