FEYNMAN PATH INTEGRALS FOR THE SCHRODINGER EQUATION WITH MAGNETIC FIELD - SONIA MAZZUCCHI - UNIVERSITA' DI TRENTO

In this talk I shall give an overview of the mathematical problems arising in Feynman path integration. In particular I shall show how even the Feynman path integrals description of a non relativistic particle in a classical magnetic field presents some non trivial issues. In particular the requirement of the independence of the approximation procedure requires the introduction of counterterms in the classical action functional that, in the case of a costant magnetic field, have a nice geometric interpretation.
